After 3 days of 1-1 coaching in Shanghai, I was physically exhausting but yet felt totally filled with positive energy! I can still remember vividly in 2011, I was nominated to the CORE program as the top 5% of Alcatel-Lucent’s talent in Paris. I read my personal declaration in front of the class that I will devote myself fully to becoming an Executive Coach that will ‘Make a difference’.

In a blink of an eye, 5 years have passed. A 5-year period that is much more fulfilling than I had ever imagined! I left the corporate world and founded Ascent-Vision. Along with the team, we had supported many outstanding CEO, CxO, EVP, SVP and various senior executives of multinational companies and internet companies onto a much bigger stage.

The team had also created many amazing projects from BIG100 to Diamond, Sparkle, Ted, Mission J, JUMP, and BIG200 where a few hundred high potential employees were enrolled. From the many messages that brought great joy to me every now and then:

“I have been assigned to the Global team.”

“Thank you for your recommendation letter as I have been accepted by XX Business School. Oh, by the way, I had also been awarded a scholarship!”

“US just offered me a position, should I go?”

What these messages are showing is that our brilliant talents are no longer just being hunted between companies but that other countries are headhunting them to migrate over!

Coming out of our projects, the participants are inspired and gained the courage of: ‘There’s nothing to fear in this world!”, and the self-confidence of: ‘I am not perfect but I am awesome!’. This type of growth mind-set can truly generate and inject tremendous energy into the corporations they serve. Thank you for letting us know that we had indeed “made a difference”!

In the coming 5 years, the focus and objective of Ascent Vision remain steadfast and unwavering. I along with the team will continue to accompany you in the journey of building stronger organization with effective communication, leadership, creativity and innovation.
